Get ready for Christmas!
Our 3 hour workshop will guide you through the process of preparing and using porcelain to make 8 to 10 Christmas decorations and a small tea- light holder/trinket dish.
Cutters and all other materials will be provided, although you can bring your own to try out different shapes and textures. No previous experience is required and the minimum age is 16 accompanied by an adult also attending the class.
Your pieces will be fired and ready to collect in 2 weeks, in time for Christmas.
Mince Pies and refreshments are provided to get you in Christmas spirit!

Have a go at throwing on the wheel..
An ideal Xmas gift!
Aimed at those students who have little or no previous experience on a potters wheel, our two experienced tutors will take you through every step of the process of throwing on the wheel.
Your work will be fired in our kilns and by the end of the session you can expect to have created two small bowls, beakers or spoon rests. Your pieces will be glazed and fired by our technicians and will be ready for collection within 3 weeks.
The perfect intro to pottery!

Family Throwing Experience

A different family experience..
We are delighted to offer our first family potting session. No experience needed, just a willingness to have a go and experience the fun of making something on the potters wheel. This relaxed session will be guided by two tutors who will take you through every stop of throwing on the wheel.
Your work will be fired in our kilns and by the end of the session you can expect to have created two small bowls, beakers or spoon rests. Your pieces will be glazed and fired by our technicians and will be ready for collection within 3 weeks.

5 Week Beginners Throwing Course
Saturdays 10am-12pm for 5 weeks.
Open to 12+ years if accompanied by adult

Our popular beginners course is specifically aimed at those students who have little or no previous experience on a potters wheel. We also welcome those students who have previously done a beginners course with us - you’ll be encouraged to throw bigger and better!
Two experienced tutors will take you through every step of the process of throwing on the wheel. The course will also cover basic decoration techniques and glazing. Your work will be fired in our kilns and by the end of the course you can expect to have created two mugs or jugs and two bowls to take home.
