Private Parties for 4-8 Adults
Are you looking for something fun and creative to do with a group of friends or colleagues?
Our private party sessions are available for selected dates on Friday and Saturday mornings & afternoons. Jan-March 2024 dates are available for booking now.
Times are 10-12pm and 1-3pm, but contact us if you have any specific requests. Price is £75pp which covers everything, - you just need to bring yourselves..
Our aim is for you each to have made two pots which you can take home once we've glazed and fired them!
What to expect..
Throwing is great fun and unlike any other challenge! It’s a perfect activity to share with friends or colleagues - no experience is needed and everyone can have a go. We have a fantastic studio with 8 wheels and our expert tutors will guide you through the process of throwing on the wheel from beginning to end.
We start with a welcome refreshments whilst the tutor will briefly explain the plan for the morning… and then once you’re all ready, we’ll get going
The final step is to choose the glazes you’d like on your pots. The drying, firing and glazing stages take around 3 to 4 weeks, and then we’ll let you know when they’re ready for collection.

It's best to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting messy. Please bring an old apron along if you have one.
Once you've chosen your date, we will email you an invite that you can share or send on to your fellow potters.
Full payment is required in advance through the online booking system. The fee is non-refundable (unless cancelled by us) but if you find that you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us seven days' notice. We offer a full refund with seven days' notice and we will do our best to accommodate you, should you wish to reschedule.
